Practising yoga on a regular basis has been shown to have many positive effects on our bodies, while understanding these physiological benefits can help to improve our personal performance during sessions.
In this event we’ll talk you through the seven organ systems of the human body, including the skeletal, muscular, nervous and respiratory systems, along with the cardiovascular, digestive and lymphatic systems. We’ll look at how yoga can promote health and vitality within each one and, ultimately, improve health and well-being across the entire body system.
This talk will also incorporate a yoga session by Sinéad Burley.
