Event Description
Pop by the OM Observatory to see what our astronomers are up to as part of our springtime night sky observation events. Weather permitting, you’ll see live astronomical imaging via our innovative Meade LX600 and camera system, while there’ll also be the chance to get hands-on with our range of refractor telescopes and do some eyepiece observing.
If you’d like to bring your own observation equipment, then feel free - the more the merrier! Meanwhile, in the event of cloud cover, you can still observe our live feeds from telescopes located in superb observing sites like the Canary Islands and Chile. Whatever the weather, there’ll be plenty of videos and images to keep all astronomy and night sky enthusiasts happy!
