What to try something new and have a go at combining history and craftsmanship all whilst learning a new skill? During this hour-long introduction you’ll learn traditional forging and blacksmithing techniques, creating something bespoke such as a poker or bottle opener, under the expert guidance of our National Trust blacksmith team.
Come prepared and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and sensible footwear, preferably work boots or shoes. Bring a water bottle with you as Blacksmithing is hot work.
