Acids and Alkalis!
Get your goggles and lab coats on and join Science Starz in the Fizzy Fun Lab at Holywood Arches and Colin Glen Libraries for an exciting experiment with Acids and Alkalis. This is a great chance for kids to feel like a real scientist as they use pipettes and beakers in this hands-on interactive session. Mix vinegar with cabbage juice to see when acid is present, then add in some sodium bicarbonate to create a second chemical reaction as the acids and alkalis mix.
