Do you know what lurks on your phone..?
Our phones are gadgets we use every day and can be the source of all sorts of germs we’re not aware of. This interactive workshop will let you test just how clean (or not!) your phone is - the results may well surprise you!
At our Public Health Laboratory you can discover what germs your phone is harbouring by wiping it with a simple swab. There’ll also be the chance to try cleaning methods including tissue paper, alcohol wipes, a phone-cleaning kit and a UV sanitiser box to see how effective they are at decreasing contamination.
We’ll explain how phones get covered with germs and the importance of keeping them clean!
