Event Description

NI Science Festival partners with Northern Ireland Museums Council to present a series of panel discussions across the country on the ongoing climate emergency. All events feature representatives from Government, local authorities, universities and charities hosted by awarding winning author and journalist Mark Lynas, author of Our Final Warning: Six Degrees of Climate Emergency.

Panel includes:

  • Mark Lynas (Chair)
  • Dr Peter McEvoy (Ulster Wildlife, Director of Land Use)
  • Prof Elizabeth Magowan (AFBI, Director of Sustainable Agriculture Science and Food Division)
  • Kevin Duncan (National Trust NI, Land Use and Farming Advisor)

This event will also take place in the following locations:

  • Springhill, Magherafelt - Thurs 23 Feb
  • F.E McWilliam Gallery and Studio, Banbridge - Fri 24 Feb
