Event Description
NI Science Festival partners with Northern Ireland Museums Council to present a series of panel discussions across the country on the ongoing climate emergency. All events feature representatives from Government, local authorities, universities and charities hosted by awarding winning author and journalist Mark Lynas, author of Our Final Warning: Six Degrees of Climate Emergency.
Panel includes:
- Mark Lynas (Chair)
- Kate Nicholl (Alliance MLA and Chair of the All-Party Group on Climate Action)
- Dr Amanda Slevin (QUB, Director of Queen’s Centre for Sustainability, Equality and Climate Action)
- Debbie Caldwell (Belfast Climate Commissioner)
